Abstract |
This report documents the CAD environment DASMAT, which stands for Delft University Aircraft Simulation Model and Analysis Tool. It operates in the computing environment MATLAB/SIMULINK, having high-performance numeric computation and visualization functionalities. The essential element in the DASMAT package is a generic nonlinear simulation model conceived with well-defined and generalized interfaces. For analyzing flight test data, the package also includes identification routines of which results are easily implemented in the simulation model. After a short introduction of DASMAT, this report focuses on the models, signals, and variables present in the DASMAT package. The operational aspects for the simulation and analysis tools are discussed next, followed by the application of the DASMAT package for control design purposes. The appendices include a complete list of files of the DASMAT package, the complete lists of signal formats and all essential variables used in the generic models, and the lay-out plus equations of the SIMULINK models. |
