Abstract |
This instructor's manual presented the first module in an eight module series designed for students at an advanced stage of training in the field of industrial hygiene. The first module, introduction to industrial hygiene engineering and control, discussed the workplace itself as a hazardous environment, the effects of health hazards on man, industrial toxicology, physical hazards, and general methods of control available to the industrial hygienist. Lesson topic outlines were included for each topic in the module. Terminal objectives were provided, which represented the levels of skill and knowledge which each student should possess by the completion of the module. Performance objectives, unit activities, equipment and material lists, case studies, practice exercises, and self tests were included. |
