Abstract	Solubility ranges of a wide variety of organic and inorganic substances were determined in one or more of the following solvents: water, dimethyl sulfoxide, 95% ethanol, acetone, methanol, and toluene. These results were determined at ambient room temperatures. This data was generated to provide researchers with information that would enable them to select appropriate solvent systems for toxicological tests and also to allow selection of the best solvent to be used for cleanup and decontamination of any spilled chemicals.
