Abstract The report summarizes the work conducted under U.S. Bureau of Mines Contract J0267001 by Science Applications International Corporation during the period of performance 9/30/86 to 2/29/88. The product of this work includes: a manual to design commercial scale operations; a commercial scale design for the Lakeshore Mine site near Casa Grande, Arizona and unit cell field experiment design of the commercial operation; a commercial scale design for the Santa Cruz site near Casa Grande, Arizona and unit cell field experiment design based on the commercial operation design; and permeability and geophysical wireline test data obtained in existing core holes SC-46 and SC-19 at the Santa Cruz site. The reports covering this work are Volumes II, III, IV, and V of the Final Report. (On July 23, 1987 the Lakeshore Mine was renamed the Cyprus Casa Grande Mine by the new operator, the Cyprus Casa Grande Corporation).
