Abstract Chromite occurrences in poorly exposed ultramafic rocks in the Kaiyuh Hills area, west-central Alaska, were investigated. This report briefly describes the local geology, chromite occurrences, and results of chemical analyses on 32 samples and metallurgical tests that were performed on 4 deposits in the area.
