Abstract	This report provides a basic guide for the safety inspection of jump form and slip form systems used in the construction of cooling towers and chimneys. The systems are described in terms of their components and operating procedures involved in the casting cycle of a typical lift. Special emphasis is given to the structural aspects of components which are most critical in the maintenance of overall structural integrity of the system during construction.
