Abstract	Air sampling for asbestos (1332214) dust was performed at the H.K. Porter Company (SIC-3292) in Huntington, Indiana, on September 30 and October 1,1969. General air samples collected with an impinger contained 0.11 to 2.00 million particles per cubic foot (mppcf) of asbestos dust at the cutting and drilling area. Impinger breathing zone samples ranged from 0.20 to 0.91mppcf. General air samples collected with a membrane filter contained 0.13 to 0.48 fibers greater than 5 microns in length per cubic centimeter (f/cc), while membrane filter samples for personal breathing areas ranged from 0.03 to 0.72f/cc.
