Abstract Surveys have been made to determine the most common health and safety problems in auto and home supply stores. The first edition of this Guide was distributed throughout the industry. While the aim of this Guide is to assist in providing a safe and healthful workplace by describing safe practices and helping to correct some of the more frequently encountered violations of the safety and health standards, it is not intended to provide total information in all areas of compliance.
