Abstract Worker exposures to polyaromatic-hydrocarbons (PAHs) were determined at the Gulf Oil Refinery (SIC-2911) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 1 to 3, 1980. The facility employs approximately 1,350 workers. The company maintained a safety and industrial hygiene program. The authors conclude that the workers at this facility are exposed to low concentrations of a number of PAHs.
