Abstract The invention is an apparatus and a process for encapsulating additives in resealed erythrocytes from the blood of certain mammals. The invention provides a means of preparing material in substantial quantities, to be employed as vaccine which, when reinjected into these mammals, provides a systemic protection against blood-sucking insects or other parasites.
