Abstract |
Instructor manual for a one week 'Industrial Hygiene Chemistry' course designed to give program graduates expertise in environmental sampling and analysis. Lesson 14, entitled gas chromatography of organic solvents, encompasses operation and calibration of a gas chromatograph to quantitate benzene, chloroform, carbon tetrachloride and trichloroethylene. Sections include preparation of samples for desorption efficiency, preparation of standards, analysis of standards and samples, and calculations and data analysis. |
