Abstract Good health and safety practices for workers in auto body repair shops, car and truck dealerships, truck fleet maintenance depots, and similar places of work, are outlined. The goal of this booklet is to acquaint the worker with the health and safety hazards in the typical auto body repair shop, and to make him more aware of good health and safety practices. Details are given as to the identification of hazards, equipment, air contaminants, tools, spray painting practices, personal protective equipment, fire safety and first aid.
