PB267536

Publication Date 1976
Personal Author Milham, S.
Page Count 956
Abstract Extensive mortality tables are given for occupations involving white males in Washington State for 1950-1971. The tables are the output of a standardized proportionate mortality ratio analysis generated by computer after extracting data from death record occupational statements and coding according to a modification of the U.S. Census Bureau code. For each occupation, observed and expected deaths and a proportionate mortality ratio are given by detailed cause of death, grouped years of death and age. An alphabetical index of occupations is included for multiple access to the data, and significant differences between observed and expected deaths are indicated.
