Abstract |
Results are presented of a study aimed at developing decision and estimation procedures whereby it may be determined whether the 8 hour time average of an airborne contaminant conforms to the Federal Standards. Simple procedures implementable by field inspectors not statistically trained are described, and information is presented, on the underlying assumptions and the mathematical derivation of the decision and estimation procedures. |
