Abstract	Guidelines are given for health and safety in the manufacture of paints, varnishes, lacquers, and enamels. Information is given on frequently violated regulations, pigments, extenders, filters, organic solvents, resins, polymers, recordkeeping requirements, and checklists. A list of NIOSH and OSHA Regional Offices is included, along with a Fire Extinguisher chart, an Emergency Information chart, and a 'How to Lift Safely' chart.
