The report gives health and safety guidelines for grocery stores. Contents include: general duty clause, typical hazards, development of a safe work environment, reducing hazards, hazards in the handling of materials, frequently violated regulations, walking and working surfaces, ladders, exits, protective equipment, sanitation, medical aid, fire protection, machine guarding, electrical requirements, recordkeeping, and information sources. Also included is a list of NIOSH and OSHA Regional Offices, a Fire Extinguisher chart, an Emergency Information chart, and a 'How to Lift Safely' chart.
