National Technical Reports Library

The National Technical Information Service acquires, indexes, abstracts, and archives the largest collection of U.S. government-sponsored technical reports in existence. The NTRL offers online, free and open access to these authenticated government technical reports. Technical reports and documents in its repository may be available online for free either from the issuing federal agency, the U.S. Government Publishing Office’s Federal Digital System website, or through search engines.

Contributions to the Data on Theoretical Metallurgy. XVI. Thermodynamic Properties of Nickel and Its Inorganic Compounds.

PB252194

Publication Date 1976
Personal Author Mah, A. D.; Pankratz, L. B.
Page Count 134
Abstract Thermodynamic data on nickel and its compounds were critically reviewed, evaluated, and compiled. Values of the properties, heat capacity, entropy, relative enthalpy, Gibbs energy function, enthalpy of formation, Gibbs energy of formation, and logarithm of the equilibrium constant, are presented in tabular format. Heat capacity, relative entropy, relative enthalpy of formation, and Gibbs energy of formation are also expressed algebraically. Values of enthalpy of formation, Gibbs energy of formation and logarithm of the equilibrium constant are tabulated for selected reactions involving nickel compounds with emphasis on reactions of pf metallurgical interest. Data on auxiliary compounds employed in the reaction are included.
