Abstract IBM System 360/65 Fortran IV programs are presented for numerically computing Hankel transforms and Fourier cosine transforms to obtain the transient tangential electric field and vertical magnetic field about a vertical magnetic dipole for an m-layer stratified earth model. Two independently developed programs are discussed, where numerical integration methods are compared with digital linear filtering methods. Program listings are provided along with example problems run by both methods. (Author)
