Abstract The report gives an on-scene description of events accompanying the grounding and subsequent sinking of the Greek oil tanker 'Arrow' in Chedabucto Bay, Nova Scotia, on February 4, 1970. The incident resulted in an oil spill of 16,000 tons of Bunker C oil.
