National Technical Reports Library

The National Technical Information Service acquires, indexes, abstracts, and archives the largest collection of U.S. government-sponsored technical reports in existence. The NTRL offers online, free and open access to these authenticated government technical reports. Technical reports and documents in its repository may be available online for free either from the issuing federal agency, the U.S. Government Publishing Office’s Federal Digital System website, or through search engines.

Abstract Vapor-liquid equilibria data for two helium-nitrogen-methane mixtures are presented for 12 temperatures from 76.5 to 164 K and pressures from 100 to 1,200 p.s.i.a. Gas mixtures of 65-34-1 and 25-27-48 percent helium-nitrogen-methane were studied in a windowed phase equilibria cell equipped with vapor recirculating pump. Isobaric and isothermal K-values are plotted for both mixtures. Two isometric plots are included. (Author)
