Abstract The project is located in Campbell and Claiborne Counties in the northeastern portion of Tennessee. It has been realized for a number of years that this section of State Route 63 from east of Lafollette to State Route 32 in Claiborne County would be inadequate for future traffic needs, and that an improvement was badly needed for safety of motorists and for the economic development of the area. The only significant adverse effect of the project will be the displacement of approximately nine residences located within the proposed right-of-way. (Author)
