Abstract The purpose of the study is to determine the efficacy of self-treatment with Pulsed Electromagnetic Frequency (PEMF) therapy, delivered via the Biomodulator™, in reducing chronic low back pain (LBP) symptoms and analgesic use in military service members (SMs) when compared to usual care (UC) alone. Secondarily, to determine whether treatment produces variability in secondary biopsychosocial variables often associated with chronic pain.
