The NTRL offers online, free and open access to these authenticated government technical reports. Technical reports and documents in its repository may be available online for free either from the issuing federal agency, the U.S. Government Publishing Office’s Federal Digital System website, or through search engines.

Abstract this twelfth annual BBG report summarizes the activities of U.S. government-funded, nonmilitary international broadcasting, encompassing the Voice of America, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, the Office of Cuba Broadcasting, Radio Free Asia, the Middle East Broadcasting Networks, and the International Broadcasting Bureau. Broadcasting in 60 languages, the Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG) expanded audiences in 2007 as it continued to promote freedom and democracy and to enhance understanding through multimedia communication of accurate, objective and balanced news, information and other programming about America and the world to foreign audiences.
