Neonatal Outcomes in a Modified NICU Environment.

PB2007107627

Publication Date 1994
Personal Author Renaud, M. T.
Page Count 56
Abstract This study investigated the effects of a modified neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) environment on the neurobehavioral and physiological outcomes of high-risk infants, as well as the influence of this environment on parental responses and parent-infant interaction. Substantial evidence supports the proposition that the NICU environment may be a factor in neonatal outcomes.
