The content of the manual is based upon the BMCS Proposed Minimum Standards for Training Tractor-Trailer Drivers. This course is divided into five major 'sections,' which are divided into 'units' and these units each contain several lessons. The five major sections are Basic Control; Safe operating practices; Advanced operating practices; Vehicle maintenance; and Non-vehicle activities.
