| Abstract |
Cardiovascular disease (CVD) has a powerful impact on the health and safety of commercial motor vehicle (CMV) drivers. These updated guidelines, prepared by a medical panel for FMCSA, contains medically-based, best practice recommendations to assist the medical examiner in determining if the CMV driver's cardiovascular condition poses a risk for the driver and others help standardize the certification process. |
