Abstract The National Toxicology Program generates toxicity data for exposures of concern in either an industrial or consumer environment. This report summarizes the data generated on isoeugenol, nominated because of widespread exposure to men and women of childbearing age. Isoeugenol is one member of a class of flavorings and fragrances that has been shown to cave carcinogenic potential. The purpose of this study was to produce some publicly-accessible data on the potential of isoeugenol to produce reproductive toxicity in rats.
