| Abstract |
The study examines the feasibility of the Hadjret En Nouss Project in Algeria, which is a 1,200 MW gas-fired combined cycle independent power project (IPP) that would be developed under a build-own-operate (BOO) framework. The report contains information on the project background and description, the proposed site, plant technical features, transmission facilities, environmental requirements, project economics, and a schedule of the project. This project has the potential to produce $800 million in U.S. exports, with the bulk of exports deriving from turbine generator equipment, air pollution control equipment, control systems, engineering services, and construction management services. |
