Abstract This study was initiated to examine the outcomes of childhood agricultural injuries and the impact of those injuries on the agricultural activities of their families. The outcomes to be studied were physical disabilities, educational challenges, medical costs, and financial and work-related impact on the families of injured children. The study would expand the information regarding the full impact of childhood agricultural injury and help inform policy commitments to prevention efforts. Information about agricultural injuries to Missouri children would be used to develop and implement prevention strategies to address such injuries. The main finding was how difficult it is to develop a sampling frame of children who have incurred agricultural-related injuries.
