Abstract The proposed action is the issuance of a construction permit for construction of the Wm. H. Zimmer Nuclear Power Station located on the Ohio River in the State of Ohio, County of Clermont, near the town of Moscow. The Station will employ a boiling water reactor to produce up to 2436 megawatts thermal (MWt). The exhaust steam from the turbine-generator will be cooled by water circulated from a natural-draft cooling tower. A summary of environmental impact and adverse effects is given.
