Abstract In the following, five details will be considered: energy, food, climate, war and science. The big basic problems are world government and avoidance of overpopulation. In our opinion, these are at present too difficult to solve, and at the same time, it is much too tempting to accept inadequate solutions. A solution or even an incomplete solution of the five special problems mentioned above will make it easier to attack the bigger problems. Furthermore, the solution of the five problems mentioned contains some scientific and unusual elements. This makes their separate discussion profitable.
