Abstract This document presents a process description for the retrieval of earth-covered, contact handled (CH) suspect transuranic (TRU) waste containers located in the Low Level Burial Grounds (LLBG). To meet the goal of completing retrieval, suspect CH TRU containers will have been moved from the trenches, assayed and vented as necessary, required labeling applied, and stored in a designated treatment, storage, and disposal facility (TSD). Those containers that do not have a disposition pathway will remain in the LLBG.
