National Technical Reports Library

The National Technical Information Service acquires, indexes, abstracts, and archives the largest collection of U.S. government-sponsored technical reports in existence. The NTRL offers online, free and open access to these authenticated government technical reports. Technical reports and documents in its repository may be available online for free either from the issuing federal agency, the U.S. Government Publishing Office’s Federal Digital System website, or through search engines.

Abstract New high-nitrogen energetic materials were synthesized by Hiskey and Naud. J. Opfermann reported a new tool for finding the probable model of the complex reactions using multivariate non-linear regression analysis of DSC and TGA data from several measurements run at different heating rates. This study is to take the kinetic parameters from the different steps and discover which reaction step is responsible for the runaway reaction by comparing predicted results from the Frank-Kamenetsckii equation with the critical temperature found experimentally using the modified Henkin test.
