Abstract |
This document provides the preliminary hazard classification for the remediation of the 100-B/C Burial Grounds. The report has been prepared to determine the authorization basis requirements for the remedial activities. The remedial activities described herein will not rely upon, nor does this report take credit for, any engineered safety structures, systems, or components that could mitigate the severity of the hazards intrinsic to this project. In general, remediation activities at the 100-B/C Burial Grounds will involve removal and disposal of contaminated soil, construction and demolition debris, reactor components, and equipment. |
