Abstract	A broad survey is presented all of the variables involved in the manufacture of Napalm thickening agent, including control of raw materials, the precipitation process, drying and packaging. It was found that, in the manufacture of Napalm, it is desirable to keep iron and manganese sulfate at very low concentrations in aluminum. The use of sodium ferrocyanide to fix the iron in a Napalm insoluble complex is of great assistance if high purity aluminum sulfate cannot be procured. A 12% sodium soap is considered the most desirable for the precipitation of Napalm.
