Abstract A balloon flight conducted 1968 December 11 detected excess hard radiation from the general direction of the Virgo A radio source. The 'signal' was 2.8 standard deviations above background in the energy range 40 keV - 95 keV, and was 2.1 plus or minus .00008 photons/sq. cm sec Kev at the top of the earth's atmosphere. (Author)
