Abstract The maximum theoretical loads at the attachment points of the XM19 aircraft pod were determined. The load analysis as established by Military Specification MIL-A8591C was modified to include gun firing loads. The magnitude of the individual loads, the derivations of the pod reaction equations, and the sway brace reactions are included. (Author)
